In the alpine village of San Martino d´Alpago, a small mountain hamlet in the municipality of Chies, stands the Locanda San Martino, a few kilometers from the picturesque Lake Santa Croce and the centuries-old forests of the Cansiglio Forest. From 2022 the Locanda represents a perfect balance between authenticity and modern comfort.

The cuisine of Locanda San Martino celebrates the tradition of Alpago with emblematic dishes such as local lamb and tagliatelle with deer ragout, flanked by seasonal proposals and creative recipes that combine territory and innovation.
Active since 1952, the restaurant was born as a family business thanks to Piero and Nella, and is now run by the daughters Norina and Gabriella Barattin, together with Giulia and Alice Pedol, supported by sommelier Alberto Zoppè and chef Paolo Speranzon. A family passion that continues in the sign of quality and hospitality.

THE FARM



The Farm Soppian, located a few steps from the Inn, is the rural heart of the structure. Sheep, cows and farmyard animals are bred here, with particular attention to the Agnello dell'Alpago, recognized by Slow Food.
